Troubleshooting Article ID dl_prb020

Issue

When I am testing a protocol that uses only the LF character (ASCII code 10) for line break, Docklight adds a line break directly after the date/time stamp and prints the RX data in the following line. How can I change this behavior?

Solution

Yes, we realized this is not a good solution in this situation - Docklight versions V1.7.37 and higher include an improved CR/LF detection. The line break is now inserted BEFORE a comm.direction change, before a new date/time stamp or before a comment. It is not postponed until the next RX characters are processed. See below for updated software packages. V1.7 users can install the software as an update.
